Wave climate of the North Atlantic, role of the atmospheric cyclones into the formation of the extremely high waves in the North Atlantic. High resolution mesoscale atmospheric and wave modelling, variability of the ocean mixed layer in response to synoptic variations in the atmosphere. Identification coherent structures as mesoscale eddies in model outputs.
